We would love to celebrate this special weekend with you at our Welcome Dinner. While we truly wish we could host everyone, this event will be optional and self-paid. We would be so happy to have you join us!
Price: $88 per person (tax included) — includes a 3-course dinner with red & white wine, beer, and refreshments. The restaurant requires confirmation in advance by 30 July.
Gather at the hotel lobby for group transportation (provided by us) to the restaurant at 4:30pm. After dinner, we will travel back to the hotel for an optional night cap.
Register Here →On Friday we are hosting a walking tour of Salvador's cultural heart — the Pelourinho (Old Town), cultural show, ride on the elevator to lower city, and market tour. Wear comfortable shoes, summer clothes, and don't forget the sunscreen!
You're on your own for breakfast and lunch — feel free to enjoy the beach or explore the village. Group transportation leaves at 3:30 PM from designated spots. Uber is also available.
There will be a BBQ Sunday afternoon. Details to follow!
We recommend planning to arrive in Salvador during the day on Thursday, November 5. We highly recommend taking an Uber from the airport to your hotel, and using Uber throughout your stay in Salvador.
We will arrange group transportation (at a cost) from Salvador to Praia do Forte on Friday afternoon following the cultural tour.
We recommend using Uber to get to the airport for your departure. You can also arrange transportation with the hotel in Praia do Forte or privately with our van driver.

Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador — cross the street to the beach, walk to the Lighthouse and Christ Statue. You will need to arrange your own transportation.
Sol Vitoria Marina in the Corredor da Vitória neighborhood (Anderson swears by the buffet). Walk to several museums; own transportation required.

Located in the fishing village itself. Easy and safe to walk around, go to the beach, shop, eat and drink. First-come basis.
Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte — a beautiful alternative if the group rate hotel is full. There are also boutique hotels in the village and Airbnb options.
Iberostar resort area — about 15 minutes north. All-inclusive (as if you still need more food and drinks after this weekend!).
